Transportation museum auction, flea market will accept donations until Oct. 25

OWLS HEAD, Maine — “You can find it here” is the theme of the annual Owls Head Transportation Museum’s Great Fall Auction and Flea Market, set for 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 27-28, at the museum, 117 Museum St. There is no charge to become a bidder and admission to the museum is free for the weekend.

Items available for bid include a weeklong all-inclusive stay at the Divi Aruba Resort on the Caribbean island of Aruba, a week home rental in the village of Seillan in the south of France, luxury lodging and dining packages, gift cards from area businesses, old cars, office and home furniture and collectibles.

The flea market will consist of hundreds of donated items not included in the auction.

Donations will be accepted through Thursday, Oct. 25.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support Museum education programs.
