Why, obviously you must, at least on some level, or you would not have read the article nor commented on it.

Way to go runners. Just finishing on a bad weather day like today is a Fantastic accomplishment and setting a new course record is truly Outstanding.

People that sit around and revel in their slothfullness, will never be able to appreciate the thrill of such a mental and physical accomplishment.

Without referring to him specifically, you do understand that PED abusers still train hard, right?

        • yup, have you followed him all the way through his school track and field and cross-country career???  not saying your comments aren’t true or rude about him or singling him out from it all

My son ran in the marathon and my grandson participated in the associated Kids Mile Run. They had a great time and we all had fun watching them. We are so proud of them!
    And here’s what else happened:
four more family members came to Maine from other places, to watch
    we ate at local restaurants
we had a home celebration and ate local Maine Lobster
everyone shopped in local grocery and gift stores and bought gas at island gas stations
some of the family stayed in Maine motels
The MDI Marathon is good for many people, in many ways.
