          The eagles Downeast havent missed a meal yet.
        And with icefishing season just around the corner there will be plenty to go around.
        Those big old bald headed scavengers sit in the trees along the shore , just like coons
        at a campground, waiting for a fresh pickerel or etc. to be tossed out on the ice.
          Who needs Animal Planet with all that going on??

          A few years back, I had the pleasure of watching an eagle do the breast stroke with his/her wings for about 50 yards and crawl up through the rockweed clutching about a 3′ long salmon.  Pretty cool.  Like you said, who needs Animal Planet.

        Actually Ryan is supposedly a sportsman, so he may care about salmon, but not enough to do anything to help them.
