Ana-Maria Dawn O’Day

BANGOR – Ana-Maria Dawn O’Day, 46, died Oct. 9, 2012, after a period of declining health. She was born Oct. 5, 1966, in New Britain, Conn., the daughter of Jeanette Fletcher and Louis R. Lanza Jr.
She worked in the health care field in Massachusetts and Bangor until an injury required that she give up her work.
In addition to her mother, Ana-Maria is survived by her beloved partner, Katherine A. Eames, with whom she had lived since 1999; brothers, Richard Cole and Mario Lanza; sister, Carol Ann Brown and husband, Stanley; several cousins, nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Rachel Reniva and her husband, Billy, and their two boys, Jeremiah and Isiah; Rockel Marquis and husband, Ron, and her daughter, Breanna; Dannie Glass and her son, Mason; and a great-niece, Sage Cole. She was predeceased by her father, Louis; and a brother, Roger.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to meet 1:45 p.m. at the superintendent’s office, State Street entrance. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
