Dozen state prison inmates indicted on drug offenses by Knox County grand jury

ROCKLAND, Maine — Prisoners dealing drugs within the state prison dominated this session of the Knox County Grand Jury that met for three days this week.

There were a dozen charged with trafficking in prison contraband with the most frequently cited drug being Suboxone and buprenorphine. The drugs are used to treat opiate addicts.

The following indictments were issued Wednesday:

Duane Christopher Waterman, 36, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband and possession of drugs.

William Harold Poore, 39, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband and possession of drugs.

Seth M. Williams, 34, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband and possession of drugs.

Jonathan Norman Thibodeau, 29, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband and possession of drugs.

Billy Woodrow Pinkham, 44, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband.

Nathaneal Kenneth Nightingale, 34, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband, possession of drugs.

Earl E. Moore III, 42, Maine State Prison, two counts of both trafficking in prison contraband and possession of drugs.

Daniel E. Morse, 44, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband (drugs).

Rachel Poore, 37, Belfast, trafficking in prison contraband, furnishing drugs.

Samuel Dewayne Caison, 28, Maine State Prison, aggravated assault, robbery.

Gregory E. Leeman, 52, Maine State Prison, aggravated assault.

Jason Moulton, 30, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband, possession of drugs.

John Larrabee, 34, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband, possession of drugs.

Janessa Fisk, 22, North Adams, Mass., trafficking in prison contraband, furnishing drugs.

Charles H. Johnson, 53, Union, trafficking in drugs.

Nicole L. Lesnyk, 23, Thomaston, burglary, aggravated criminal trespass, domestic violence assault, two counts of assault, disorderly conduct.

Joshua N. Cottongim, 39, Liberty, eluding a police officer, criminal speeding, driving to endanger, failure to stop for an officer on April 30 in Thomaston.

Dennis Young, 55, Cushing, furnishing methadone, furnishing oxycodone.

Robert Young, 46, Rockland, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Jeffrey H. Dorr Jr., 31, Owls Head, forgery, theft.

Frederick A. Campbell, 28, Friendship, theft.

Nathan L. Ames, 34, St. George, burglary and theft.

Alan Adams, 43, North Haven, burglary, aggravated criminal trespass, terrorizing, criminal mischief, theft.

Brandon M. Klein, 28, Washington, domestic violence assault.

John J. Schmiz Jr., Warren, aggravated criminal mischief.

Sherry L. Thurson, 42, Owls Head, aggravated criminal trespass, domestic violence assault, criminal mischief.

Danielle R. Demeritt, 27, Rockland, possession of drugs, violating a condition of release.

Edward Rogers, 44, Tenants Harbor, aggravated trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs.

Devin Ranquist, 26, South Thomaston, two counts of possession of drugs.

Charles Harris, 47, Rockland, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Courtney Flint, 19, Waldoboro, acquiring drugs by deception, possession of oxycodone.

Christopher Chaisson, 41, Appleton, illegal importation of cocaine, two counts of possession of drugs, criminal forfeiture of a 2001 Toyota Highlander.

MIchael McLellan, 26, Rockland, illegal importation of cocaine, trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs.

Daniel Campbell, 26, Friendship, possession of drugs.

Allen Boody, 27, Rockland, possession of drugs.
