Josephine A. (Miller) Wollard Thibodeau

EASTON – Josephine “Jo” A. (Miller) Woollard Thibodeau, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Oct. 10, 2012, at The Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle. She was born May 20, 1925, in Easton, daughter of the late Willis and Viola Miller.
Jo was a very active individual, who had many hobbies and talents. Some of the things she loved to do were playing golf with her husband, Maurice, fly-fishing, painting, crafts and scrapbooking. She was involved in Pioneer girls and taught Sunday school for many years. Jo was also a member of Easton Wesleyan Church and was faithful in her attendance, and always put others first before herself.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice Thibodeau of Easton; four sons, Terry Woollard and his wife, Lois, of Washburn, Allan Woollard and his wife, Debi-Jo, of Wade, Jere Woollard and his wife, Claudette, of Presque Isle and Jim Woollard and his wife, Pamela, of Blaine; three daughters, Gail Lawrence and her husband, Eldon, of Mars Hill, Sandra Woollard and her fiance, Kerry Golding, of Littleton and Patricia Thibodeau and her husband, Daniel, of Wade; a brother-in-law, Bob Thibodeau and his wife, Sherry, of Presque Isle; sister-in-law, Dolores Tarbox of Caribou; six stepchildren, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren. She will also be remembered by a special friend, Irene DaFonte of Easton. Jo was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Woollard; a brother, Richard Miller; and three stepchildren.
Friends and family may call noon-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Easton Wesleyan Church, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. with Pastor Rob McDowell officiating. Interment will take place at Estes Cemetery, Easton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jo’s memory to Easton Wesleyan Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 15, Easton, ME 04740.
