Kathleen M. Leet

GUILFORD AND MILLINOCKET – Kathleen M. Leet, 59, wife of the late Raymond Leet, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 18, 1953, in Bangor, daughter of William and Marjorie Gifford.
Kathleen enjoyed gardening, knitting and cooking. She loved the ocean and spending time with her family, as well as her “tea time” with her social group, The Widowers. Kathleen will be remembered as a caretaker, having looked out for her husband during his final illness, her family and many friends. She would let herself go without to make sure someone else had what they needed.
Kathleen is survived by two children, Lynn Marie Green and husband, Cary, of Island Falls, and Clint Rudge and wife, Velma, of Millinocket; special niece, Michelle Dunton and husband, Tom, of Newburgh, and their son, Tyler; four grandchildren, Devin Rudge, Derek Atkinson, Jenessa Willey and Ashley Sennett; two great-grandchildren, Zoe-Beth Parent and Amber-Rose Parent; several half siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Kathleen was predeceased by her father, William Gifford Sr.; mother, Marjorie Powers; brother, William Gifford Jr.; and sister, Rhonda Patchell.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Millinocket Cemetery with her son-in-law, Cary Green officiating. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket. Messages of condolence may be expressed at
