Germaine (Labbe) Nadeau

FORT KENT – Germaine (Labbe) Nadeau, 82, passed away Oct. 5, 2012, at Forest Hill Manor. She was born April 2, 1930, in Wallagrass, the daughter of Hampy and Melida Labbe of Wallagrass.
She married Ludger E. Nadeau, Aug. 19, 1947, and raised five children in Fort Kent.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ludger, in June 1998; and her sister, Beatrice. She is survived by five daughters, Patricia M. of Scarborough, Pauline M. and Al of Plainville, Conn., Joyce A. of Eagle Lake, Gail T. and Doug of East Newport and Norma J. and Gary of Topsham; four grandchildren, Vicki L. of Plainville, Conn., Angie M. of Topsham, Neil P. of Topsham and Robyn M. of Lewiston; three great-grandchildren, Kayla A., Lyndsey M. and Emma K., all of Plainville, Conn.; many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Bernadette; brothers, Roland and Raymond; and special cousin, Joan of Fort Kent.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be afterward in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forest Hill Manor Activities Fund, 25 Bolduc Ave., Fort Kent, ME 04743 or to a charity of one’s choice. Services are being conducted by Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
