BANGOR – Angela R. Hollis, 49, died unexpectedly Oct. 4, 2012. She was born May 6, 1963, in St. Albans, Vt., the daughter of Winston A. and Hannelore (Pommer) Hollis.
Angela graduated from Nuernberg High School, Nuernberg, Germany, class of 1981. After her graduation, she was employed at the military clothing facility in Del Rio, Texas, and moved to Bangor where she worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center in central sterile supply and the pharmacy department. She graduated from Beal College, in 1991, in the interim, with an associate degree in paralegal. In 2001 she had a beautiful daughter, Sarah who was her whole heart, pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, Angela is survived by her daughter, Sarah; a sister, Michelle Roberts and her husband, Lawrence, and son, Lawrence, of Orrington; many cousins, aunts and uncles, both of Maine and Germany.
Relative and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John Roman Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor.
