BANGOR, Maine — Dogs of several breeds and sizes marched through downtown Bangor on Saturday afternoon as part of the Bangor Humane Society’s 19th annual Paws on Parade event.
Paws on Parade, the society’s largest annual fundraiser, is a celebration of animals to benefit pets awaiting adoption.
Over a mile long, the route runs from the Bangor Waterfront through downtown Bangor and loops back to the waterfront.
The fundraiser includes a variety of sponsors, vendors and events, including contests.
