SACO, Maine — A Scarborough woman who had an outstanding warrant is facing a drug charge after oxycodone pills were found in her vehicle during a traffic stop, according to police.
Lisa Everest, 41, was pulled over around 5 a.m. Thursday on Route 1 after police observed her weaving within her lane, Saco police Sgt. Corey Huntress said.
Everest had a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous theft charge, according to Huntress.
After she was placed under arrest, a search of her vehicle turned up a pair of oxycodone pills, earning Everest an additional charge of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, a Class D misdemeanor, the sergeant said.
Everest was taken to the York County Jail and later released on bail.
