Lassonde leads Southern Aroostoook by Central Aroostook

MARS HILL — Cody Lassonde scored with 34 minutes left in the second half to lift the Southern Aroostook Warriors by County rival Central Aroostook 2-1 in schoolboy soccer action Thursday nihgt.

The Warriors of Dyer Brook improved to 9-1-1 while the Panthers slipped to 3-7-2.

Trenton Cullinan got Southern Aroostook on the board with a goal in the first half. Joe Stiles scored the lone goal for the Panthers.

Goalkeeper Austin White made 5 saves against 15 shots for the Warriors, while  his counterpart Hunter Crouse made 4 saves on 9 shots for the Panthers.
