WATERVILLE – Priscilla Grenier, 86, went to be with the Lord, Oct. 2, 2012. She was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Old Town, daughter of Charles and Rose (Cyr) Taylor.
Priscilla had been employed at Boothby & Bartlett Insurance Co. as a claim representative. She also volunteered at Corpus Christi Parish Office. Priscilla was a member of the former St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, now Corpus Christi Parish. She enjoyed spending time at the family camp on Parker Pond, being with family and friends, knitting, reading, sports and cooking. She will be fondly remembered as a kind and pleasant woman.
Priscilla is survived by her three sons, Robert Grenier and wife, Leslie, of Mount Vernon, Richard and Paul, both of Waterville; sister, Virginia Taylor of Old Town; brother, Norman Taylor and wife, Olive, of Old Town; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Grenier of Winslow; grandchildren, Scott and wife, Lisa, Mark and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Jack and Olivia; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Grenier Jr.; brothers, Franklin Taylor and Rudolph Taylor; and sister, Martha LaFlamme.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Committal will be after at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
