Rockland authorities respond to 2-car crash

Rockland police and emergency medical crews responded shortly before 9 a.m.Thursday to a two-vehicle crash on Old County Road in Rockland near the Rockport town line. Rockland police Officer Lloyd Daniels said the driver of a car with a New York license plate was taken to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The New York car rolled on its roof on the side of the road. A minivan with Maine plates also went off the road but appeared to have little damage. More information was not immediately available. Traffic was reduced to one lane.
