BOSTON — Kylie Strom and Madison Clemens scored 1:06 apart midway through the second half to give the Boston University Terriers a 2-0 women’s soccer victory over the Maine Black Bears Thursday night at Nickerson Field.

Strom took an Erin Mullen pass in the middle of the penalty area and beat Maine goalie Lauren Swant with a one-timer from 15 yards out.

It was Strom’s first goal of the season.

Clemens converted a Jessica Morrow corner kick into her fourth goal.

Andrea Green saved Maine’s only shot for the Terriers, who are now 6-5-1 overall and 2-0 in America East.

Swant made three saves on eight shots for the 5-4-1 Black Bears (1-1 in America East).
