    I am concerned that there are hospitals in Blue Hill, Bar Harbor, and Ellsworth.  Why don’t we focus the efforts on one top notch central hospital?  Obviously this would be Ellsworth.

       Travel time is the critical issue. With your concept, I would opt for EMMG. Don’t end up like Boothbay Harbor with half a hospital. Keep Bar Harbor open by focusing on market share and quality.

    Ha.. of course it would be Ellsworth. That is unless you are in cardiac arrest in Stonington… You probably won’t make it.

       Yup, but someone will write in that the EMT’s will save you. Look out, it’s a creeping bureaucracy that is going crazy.
