BANGOR, Maine — A 22-year-old Millinocket man was arrested Friday night after Bangor police received a call from a Valley Avenue resident who wanted him out.

Not only did Jacob Patterson refuse to leave, he also reportedly yelled at police who responded and then shoved Officer Richard Polk while Polk was attempting to handcuff him, Bangor police Lt. Tom Reagan said Tuesday.

After police subdued Patterson, they arrested him on charges of disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest, Reagan said.
