Guidelines for posting on bangordailynews.com

The Bangor Daily News encourages comments about stories, but you must follow our terms of service.

  1. Keep it civil and stay on topic
  2. No vulgarity, racial slurs, name-calling or personal attacks.
  3. People who harass others or joke about tragedies will be blocked.
The primary rule here is pretty simple: Treat others with the same respect you'd want for yourself. Here are some guidelines (see more):

  • The public has grown up since Diana’s death. That it took that tragedy, and Murdoch’s now clearly criminal invasion of privacy, shows how much the public is now more than ready to let people live in peace with out their ‘private’s’ being displayed. The only question is are we ready to say NO when this type of nonsense is put out there ? Only time will tell……..

  •  Why does the U.S.A. or any of its newspapers have ANY business in this story?  We kicked the royalty out of here over 200 years ago.
