Marion H. Morrill

BANGOR – Marion Hazel (Packard) Morrill, wife of the late Clyde Morrill Sr., passed away Sept. 6, 2012, surrounded by family in her home, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 27, 1933, to Etta Packard.

Marion was known as gram to many and lived a life filled with laughter and love. She took pride in her work at Bangor Mental Health Institute and Westgate Manor. She looked forward each week to Sunday dinner with family and Scrabble games with her grandson/best friend, Chris and his wife. She spent much of her spare time doing word searches and enjoyed her evenings watching “Wheel of Fortune.” She was an avid story teller with a memory that allowed her to share many stories from years ago, some that you would even hear over and over again! The last few years she enjoyed her peaceful relaxation at Brewer Lake.

She is survived by four sons, James Leonard and his wife, Stephanie and their children, Jonathan and Justin; Thomas Leonard and Kim Leonard and their children, Derek and his wife, Kyleen, and daughter, Mackenzie, Chad and his wife, Gina, and their children, Cooper and Dylan, and Megan and her fiance, John; Clyde Morrill Jr. and his children, Ellysea, Jared and Neil; and Barney Morrill and his wife, Karin, and daughter, Allison; three daughters, Pamela Meucci and her husband, Andy, and their children, Katrina and Angelina and her fiance, Scott; Jeanie Wiley and her husband, Lewis, and their children, Michelle, Jeff, Becky, Jason and Jessica; and Janet Gomm and her husband, Steve, and her children, Cindy and Laurie; grandsons, Gregory Cerini III and his wife, Bambi, and their children, Kathryne, Anthony and Hunter; and her best friend and rock, Christopher “Crippy” Cerini and his wife, Susan. She will be missed by her three cats, Etta, Ashes and Guy; her granddog, Monique “Gladys”; and special extended family, Jeff and Jennifer Lindsey and their kids, and Timothy Fairbrother and his family. She leaves behind two special cousins, Patricia Odette and Chloe Libby. Marion was predeceased by her mother, Etta Packard; husband, Clyde Morrill Sr.; and special daughter and camping buddy, Cheryl A. Leonard Cerini.

A funeral service will be held noon Monday, Sept. 10, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, and relatives and friends are welcome to call 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport.
