Dolly M. Bryson

HERMON – Dolly May Bryson, 60, died Aug. 27, 2012, at her home. She was born April 15, 1952, in Dexter, a daughter of Lewis Bryson Sr. and Luella (Drew) Bryson Robinson.

She was a member of Bingham Grange No. 237 and Somerset Pomona Grange No. 6. Dolly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially camping in Bar Harbor with her brother, Lewis and his friend, Jim. She was employed at Bangor City Nursing for many years, the Levinson Center, Bangor, and Holden Elementary School.

Dolly is survived by three sons, Dwight Colbath of Corinna, Philip Allen of Hermon and Heath Allen of Hudson; five brothers, Neal and wife, Laurie Bryson, of Pittsfield, Edward Bryson of Exeter, N.H., Michael Bryson of Pittsfield, Larry Bryson of Levant and Lewis Bryson Jr. of Madison; a sister, Robin and husband, Michael Hunt, of Carmel; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Her family thanks Eastern Maine Medical Center Hospice for their care.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
