HERMON, Maine — Jim Carr Jr. of Clifton won the final feature event of the 2012 pickup truck season Wednesday night at Speedway 95 and also won the three-race BDS Waste Disposal series for the division and the 2012 points championship.
Carr took the lead early in the race from Roger Smith Jr. of Bangor, who later fell out of the event with mechanical issues.
Jeff Overlock Jr. of Hermon finished the night’s feature in second, followed by Bucksport’s Dana Harlow in third. Fourth went to Jason Haskell of Levant with Mike Lynch or Winterport in fifth. It was Carr’s second consecutive points title in the trucks.
