BELFAST, Maine — Counting Sunday’s arrest, police say that a 19-year-old from Stockton Springs now has been arrested 15 different times.

Dylin P. Knight was nabbed most recently for allegedly driving under the influence after a resident of Penobscot Terrace in Belfast called to complain about his driving.

Belfast police found Knight’s car parked outside one of the apartments in the housing complex and talked to him Sunday, according to Chief Mike McFadden of the Belfast Police Department.

Knight told police that he hadn’t been drinking that evening, but the officer “noticed Dylin was in fact intoxicated,” McFadden said, adding that the teen did not cooperate with the investigation.

He also was charged with operating beyond his license restrictions and two counts of violation conditions of release from previous charges.

McFadden said police in the past have arrested Knight on a variety of offenses, including operating after suspension and drug charges.
