WALDOBORO, Maine — A 25-year-old Warren man died early Tuesday morning in a motorcycle crash.

Gregory Zaccadelli was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Jefferson Street, said Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde.

The motorcyclist was found by someone passing the scene at 4 a.m., the chief said. The Warren man had been driving toward Route 1 when his Harley Davidson went off the road and he was thrown from it. The crash occurred between Mill Street and Route 1.

Zaccadelli was not wearing a helmet, the chief said.

The chief said the cause of the crash has not been determined but the department is continuing its investigation.
