Farm tractor trek to benefit Hospice of Aroostook

WESTFIELD, Maine — The Northern Maine Antique Tractor Club will hold its annual Memorial Tractor Trek on Sunday, Aug. 26. Registration will take place at 8:30 a.m., with the trek starting at 9 a.m.

The trek will begin in Westfield, travel to Easton, and then follow Route 1A to McCrum’s Facility in Mars Hill for a tour. The trek will continue on Route 1A South down by Mars Hill Mountain.

Donations received will be given to Hospice of Aroostook and the new House of Comfort Hospice House Project in central Aroostook County. For a donation of $25 the name of a loved one will be placed on a Memory Board that will be mounted on the body of the antique farm truck that will serve as the lead vehicle for the trek.

Those who wish to drive an antique tractor in the trek must be a member of the Northern Maine Antique Tractor Club. Memberships will be accepted the day of the trek.
