HERMON, Maine — Garett Hayman of Milford led all 25 laps of the Little Enduro Series race on Varney Buick-GMC-Mazda’s Wacky Wednesday night at Speedway 95 and, in the process, picked up the series points title with a perfect score of 300.
Hayman won the evening’s first qualifier, which placed him on the pole for the main event. He led outside pole-sitter Jeremy Scott of Carmel, who won the second qualifier, for 23 laps until the red came out.
On the restart, Hayman again pulled away from Scott. Newburgh’s Darren Durrell also passed Scott to finish second, with Scott finishing third. Kyle Gallant took fourth with Donny Silva of Hudson fifth.
