The BDN system for reporting high school games online will continue for the fall season. We are again requiring high schools to report their games on the website instead of calling or faxing us.

Doing so is the best way to guarantee the game will appear on the BDN website and in the newspaper.

FOR ALL GAMES, we are asking school coaches or managers to list: Each team’s record, the first and last names of players mentioned for each team, and key highlights from the game

FOR SOCCER and FIELD HOCKEY, we are asking for the goals and assists for each team, total shots, and total saves for each goalkeeper.

FOR FOOTBALL, we are asking for a scoring summary for each team’s touchdowns, extra points and field goals. We will also take a linescore and stats of leading players.

FOR VOLLEYBALL, we are asking for the stats of the leading players for each team.

TO REPORT a soccer, field hockey or football game or a volleyball match, go to the BDN website, visit bangordailynews.com/sports/scores, click on your game or match, add the information and hit submit. Do not hit submit until you have added all of your information.

We also ask schools to email results to us for other high school events, such as golf and cross country, in a plain-text, paragraph format that does not include tabs or columns. Other high school information, such as schedule changes or listings of all-star teams, should be emailed to: bdnsports@bangordailynews.com.

FOR POSTPONED GAMES, email the rescheduled date to the BDN as soon as possible.

Thank you for helping us provide the most accurate, up-to-date information to our readers.
