Enough humidity already!

I’m not really complaining … I’ve come to terms with heat and that nasty H-word. It’s so temporary and not worth losing time outside over. Such was the day when Deb and I hiked Holbrook Island Sanctuary.

It was a great time with new explorations and a fantastic picnic lunch with a million-dollar view.

All of today’s photos except the gray tree frog, which Deb and I rescued from the mirror on her car, were

taken at Holbrook. Holbrook Island Sanctuary is located on Cape Rosier, just south of Castine on the map. Great place to visit!

We hope your summer is going well.
