SACO, Maine — A Kennebunk man was arrested for drug possession and a Hollis woman was nabbed for operating under the influence during an early-morning traffic stop Saturday, according to police.

Victoria Bonnville, 19, was pulled over on suspicion of OUI around 3 a.m. Saturday after Saco police Officer Robyn Gudaitis observed her weaving along Main Street, according to Deputy Chief Jeff Holland.

Bonnville’s passenger, Steven Doe, 19, admitted to being intoxicated as well, Holland said. Doe also allegedly confessed to eating a psychedelic mushroom and police say they found more mushrooms in his backpack.

In addition to being intoxicated, Bonnville’s license was suspended, according to Holland.

Both suspects were arrested. Doe was charged with possession of a scheduled drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bonnville was charged with OUI and operating after suspension.

Bonnville and Doe were taken to York County Jail, where they were unable to post $200 bail, Holland said.
