MEXICO, Maine — Police have made one arrest and issued a summons in connection with nearly a dozen burglaries that took place during the last two weeks of July. The stolen jewelry, coins and other items are valued in the thousands of dollars.
Mexico police Lt. Roy Hodsdon said Anthony Mann, 21, of Kimball Avenue, was arrested on two counts of receiving stolen property at the end of July. He was released from the Mexico Police Department on $1,200 unsecured bail on July 30. A few days later, following a search of Sun Valley Circle, Mann was arrested on a probation hold for three counts of burglary.
