EAST MILLINOCKET – Michelle Lee (Allen) Jacobs, 43, died unexpectedly Aug. 1, 2012, at her home, 45 Church Street. She was born May 22, 1969, in Millinocket, daughter of Denise (Crocker) Esancy and Wayne Carlton Allen.

She achieved her certified nurse’s aide certification. She devoted herself to her children, family and friends, in any way she could. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved yard sales and getting a great bargain.

Michelle is survived by her two children, Gilbert J. Chaloux Jr. of East Millinocket, Amanda (Chaloux) Crane and her husband, Nicholas, of Houlton; grandchildren, Patrick and Samuel; three brothers, Wayne Patrick Allen of Lincoln, Merrill (Mickey) Tompkins III and Rachel of Lincoln, and Justin Esancy of St. Albans; one sister, Kathy (Allen-Tompkins) Wills and husband, David, of Medway; nieces and nephews; Randy Chaloux Jr., Shari Splude and their son, Zakery of Houlton, Lisa Chaloux and Ben Gagnon of Medway, Sara Chaloux of Houlton; Kristen Allen, daughter, Cheyenne, and Kelsey Allen, all of Houlton; Dakota, Merrill IV “Merle”, Nehemiah Tompkins, Mariah and Lukas Cropley of Lincoln; also her stepparents, Mike and Barbara Tompkins of Medway.

Family and friends may visit 3-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Mattawamkeag Church of God, 187 Main St., Mattawamkeag, where a service honoring her life will be held at 4:30 p.m. as the visitation concludes with Pastor Mark York officiating. A gathering with refreshments will be after the services in the fellowship hall at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expense may be sent to her sister, Kathy Wills, P.O.
