Sometimes I wonder how kids all seem to have the  same fights.

Me: “Ford, you’ve hurt Lindell’s feelings and made him wonder about his place in this family. Tell him you’re sorry.”

Ford: “Lindell, I’m sorry you don’t look like any of us.”

Shame on you for your decision to make light of adoption. Siblings make jokes about it, but your decision to broadcast it was unnecessary and hurtful to children who have become full members of a family through adoption. Yes, adoptive families may not look like yours, but they do not deserve to be made light of. I wish you had thought about the impact of your words before going to print.

In your politically correct world, is there -anything- that would be fair game for kids to make fun of each other about?

Wow are you serious? These are children. I cannot believe you would write something so hideous. I feel sorry for you. Absolutely ridiculous!
