    Shame on you for your decision to make light of adoption. Siblings make jokes about it, but your decision to broadcast it was unnecessary and hurtful to children who have become full members of a family through adoption. Yes, adoptive families may not look like yours, but they do not deserve to be made light of. I wish you had thought about the impact of your words before going to print.
