CROUSEVILLE – Wayne R. Crouse died peacefully July 27, 2012, at his home after a long illness. He was born April 7, 1935, in Presque Isle, the son of Ralph and Necia (Carvell) Crouse.
Wayne graduated from Washburn High School and attended Boston University, where he majored in aeronautical engineering. He worked as a graphic artist for Stone & Webber Engineering, Boston, before retiring at an early age to come back home. He painted many signs for organizations in the area during his retirement.
Wayne is survived by his four brothers, Beverly "Carl" and his wife, Dot, of Las Vegas, Neil of Lisbon, Roger and his wife, Sandra, of Crouseville and Steven and his wife, Shelby, of Brunswick. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one nephew.
As per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
A private burial will be at Crouseville Hilltop Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
