NELSON J. GAGNON

VAN BUREN – Nelson J. Gagnon, 74, died unexpectedly July 28, 2012, at a Caribou hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1937, in Hamlin, son of Paul and Eugenie (Roy) Gagnon.

He was self-employed as owner and operator of Valley Electronics, Van Buren, for many years.

Nelson is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Pelletier) Gagnon of Van Buren; one foster son, Yvon Desjardins of Rochester, N.H.; and one niece, Pauline Parker of Van Buren.

There will be no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements are a service of Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. To leave online condolences, please visit
