HERMON – Carol A. Davis, 64, died July 27, 2012, at a local Bangor hospital. She was born May 24, 1948, the daughter of George A. and Winnefred (Blake) Dyer.

Carol was a homemaker, clerk for Training and Development Corp., town clerk in Hermon for 17 years, and retired in January 2011. Family was the very most important of all to her. She loved gardening, crafts, sewing, reading, always teaching others, cooking for the family and everyone was welcome. Holidays were always celebrated in full fashion at Carol and Larry’s home. Carol’s angel, candle and tin collections will always be a reminder of her love of life.

Carol is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry Davis; son, Joseph Davis and his wife, Tracie Cushman; daughter; Kayla Frye and her husband, Josh; three grandchildren, Mercedes and Maclaren Davis, and Bristol Frye; sister, Mary Overlock and her husband, Butch; brother, Richard Dyer; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Deanna Dyer.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Waugh Cemetery, Levant.
