DIXMONT – Ronald Clifford Lennon Sr., 81, passed away peacefully July 25, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born April 10, 1931, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Joseph and Crystal (Searles) Lennon.
Ronald was a longtime resident of Dixmont and plowed snow for the town for many years. He will be remembered as a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who always put his family first and foremost in his life.
Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne Marie (Carlstrom) Lennon, in 1998.
He is survived by his children, Kathy C. Lennon of Dixmont, Ronald C. Lennon Jr. of Jackson, Carrie J. Lennon and Donnie of Jackson and Scott E. Lennon and his wife, Kelly, of Corinna; sister, Connie Turcotte and her husband, Lew, of Lewiston; grandchildren, Michelle, Cricket, Devon, Derek, Miranda, Mindy and Jared; great-grandchildren, Maile, Julianna, Mykala and Bradley; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 30, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. Private family interment will be at Dixmont Corner Cemetery, Dixmont. In keeping with Ronald’s care and concern for his community, in lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, P.O. Box 100, Dixmont, ME 04932.
