People helping out is nice and all.
I sincerely mean that, but wouldn’t  a universal health care program be more effective in cases like this ?

When both parents are unable to work due to their child’s illness, they lose the wages that normally would be covering rent/food/utilities and other expenses. This lost revenue would not be covered by, or made up for, by Universal Health. That is why help from the community is needed to assist this family! Thank God so many people have the goodness in their hearts to step up to the plate and lend a hand!

yah it would be great if the government would do it honestly but all theyre doing is raising our taxes so they can spend it on other things and put us further in debt! You should check your facts before spouting out ridiculousness! If we had universal heathcare the way the US wants it now little Hailey would be dead before she could even get the care she needed!

      •  hmm, I don’t they were spouting off anything.  They were asking a question and all they get from you is some shrewish response.  You should see a therapist about your anger issues….

.. and its cost should be covered by a universal health care program .
See how much it could benefit the Nation ?

seriously? How would Universal healthcare have killed her? Hmm, you sure about that?

      No.

I’m praying for this poor, darling child! Strep can be so dangerous. This takes me back to when one of my own kids had bouts of strep, back in the 1980s. Never this bad, but still scary.

I hope the ACA prevails; otherwise, Hailey may never be able to purchase health insurance, since at this tender age she’s already had a serious illness. And this could happen to anyone’s child or grandchild.
