Bangor State Fair preparation under way

BANGOR, Maine — Workers with Fiesta Shows were in town Wednesday setting up rides for this year’s Bangor State Fair.

The fair opens on Friday, July 27 and runs until Sunday, Aug. 5.

Admission, including unlimited mechanical rides and all shows, is $12 per person, per day and can be purchased at the gate.

Children under 3 years of age can be admitted for free.

On Senior Citizen Day, Tuesday July 31, all seniors 60 and older can be admitted to the fairgrounds for free.

Some featured exhibits this year include Wolves of the WorldDisc-Connected K9’s, and A Grizzly Experience.
