The 2nd amendment exists so the people can defend themselves against tyranny. Take that away & the likes of obama & his liberal network will undo the 236 years of freedom we’ve all enjoyed. Government will revert to the same tyranny as Sudan, Iran, etc. & it will be a suffrage no human should endure. The 2nd amendment has been a major reason why freedom endures & the 2nd amendment is necessary.

Temperate? sounds more like “totally Unhinged.”

Your comment is nonsensical, rambling and paranoid, and it misses the point altogether.

Obama isn’t planning to abolish the Second Amendment. Gun control doesn’t mean banning firearms. It’s impossible to have an intelligent conversation about the issue when the discussion is dominated by wildly absurd, knee-jerk partisan nonsense like this.

This is a  morality issue – not a firearms issue. Stop encouraging sociopathic behavior in movies and video games.  Start parenting. Make people accountable. Punish murder and other violent crimes. There is a good blueprint for society – it’s called the Ten Commandments. Don’t blame inanimate objects for the actions of people that are evil.

The Obama administration has been doing everything it feels it can “under the radar” (as stated personnally by Obama to the anti-gun brady campaign) while keeping a low profile until Obama wins a second term.

Many feel Obama is the one who approved “fast & furious” and that the DOJ is stonewalling the congressional investigation (that has earned Eric Holder a contempt of Congress designation) to protect Obama.

Hillary Clinton, Secretary of state is pushing the United Nation’s attempt to adopt an international treaty to require international registration and control of “small arms.”  This is a blatant attempt to circumvent the US constitution and the 2nd amendment it contains.  If Obama should be elected to a second term and if the democrat party retains control of the senate you can kiss the 2nd amendment goodbye.

The group of nations that are pushing this small arms treaty include some of the most undemocratic and dispicable in the world including (for example) Sudan where rape, pillage and the selling of individuals into slavery is commonplace.  The villagers cannot protect themselves since they are forbidden to have any “small arms.”

Another country that is supporting the “small arms” treaty is Iran, that paragon of democracy – NOT!

The Obama administration has done absolutely nothing to try to increase gun control. Nothing. Jack squat. Zilch. Not a single thing.

Thanks to the enormous lobbying power of the NRA, firearms are wildly under-regulated in our country, which of course is exactly what the gun industry, like any other industry, wants. Gun control isn’t going to end gun violence, but it goes a long way toward reducing it.

Spoken like a true unknowledgeable, blame to thing not the person, gun hater.  There are tens of thousands of “gun control” laws on the books.

You are correct about one thing; “Gun control isn’t going to end ‘gun violence'” (whatever that is) or crime either since it has been shown that crime decreases with an increase in the availability of guns.  Read the book “More guns, less crime.”

THANK YOU NRA!! Thanks for fighting any kind of reasonable control measures. With over 3,000 deaths yearly from gun violence, and over 30,000 accidental shootings each year, I’m glad you help make all this possible.
