Guidelines for posting on bangordailynews.com

The Bangor Daily News and the Bangor Publishing Co. encourage comments about stories, but you must follow our terms of service.

  1. Keep it civil and stay on topic
  2. No vulgarity, racial slurs, name-calling or personal attacks.
  3. People who harass others or joke about tragedies will be blocked.
The primary rule here is pretty simple: Treat others with the same respect you'd want for yourself. Here are some guidelines (see more):

  • I could be wrong, but my guess is that if he’s being held without bail, there’s more evidence that the press has not released. I’m not sure how a person can be CHARGED with murder when there has been NO BODY found. Did he admit to murder? I don’t fully understand how this works.
Anyway, I always thought Goerge Jamie was creepy. I’m not surprised by this.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Starlette Vining.

If you had been following, the affidavit was sealed so obviously there is evidence that only investigators and courts have at this time.

      • I wasn’t able to follow as much as I liked…I work weird hours….thanks! I didn’t know that.

I believe that “remains” were found and that police are waiting on family DNA samples to confirm that it is Vining’s remains before they release more information. I hope they dont let him post bail….he will flee for sure.

Probably had to wait for Alan Harding to get his ankle monitor on.

I am thinking he might have finially confessed after they brought his son into the pawnshop wearing his orange jumpsuit..The pawnsop was locked up with a sign until he was brought on the scene in handcuffs and then less than an hour later Jaime was being put into the police car…thats what everyone around here is saying but keep in mind that “Rumors” is what people thrive on to survive in this town.
