JEANETTE T. SWAN

CLINTON and DEXTER – Jeanette T. Swan, 81, was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Dexter, a daughter of Horace and Alphonsine (Giguiere) Poulin. We lost our beloved mother, wife and wonderful friend July 9, 2012. She passed away of natural causes at Suncoast Hospice House Brookside, Palm Harbor, Fla.

Jeanette and Fred Swan were winter residents of Clearwater, Fla., for the last 16 years, and resided in Clinton during the summer months. Jeanette was employed by Dexter Shoe Co., Dexter, and Dick’s Market, Clinton, before she and Fred retired in 1996. Jeanette loved singing with the Kennebells and Evening Extension in Clinton for many years.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Swan Sr., known to everyone as Fred; and three loving sons, Mark Swan and wife, Linda, of Bangor, James F. Swan Jr. and wife, Jessica, of Clinton and Scott Swan of Quincy Mass.; grandchildren, Christine Alice Swan, Jessica Alphonsine Swan, James F. Swan III, Stephanie, Terry and

Abbie Jennings; great-grandchildren, Kyesha, Selden, Emit and new born, Amelia; sisters, Geraldine Beaulieu and Edith Garrison; many nieces and nephews. We all will miss her and loved her dearly. May she rest in peace.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, with the Rev. George Darling officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Those who wish may leave tributes at
