2 men killed in fiery Auburn crash identified

AUBURN, Maine — Police have identified two people who died in fiery car crash in Auburn this week.

Emergency personnel responded to the crash early Tuesday to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the middle of the street. Police say the vehicle left the road, struck a tree and rolled several times before bursting into flames.

The victims have been identified as 21-year-old Logan Pleau-Frangoulis and 22-year-old Stephen Pessant. Both were from Auburn.

The crash remains under investigation.
