Deb and I usually visit Surry Gardens during early summer and culminate the trip with a visit to Newbury Neck for a walk and a picnic. The photos of the miniature horse, lupine, orange hawkweed, osprey, seal and the Virginia ctenuchid moth were taken on that outing. The hawkweed and moth are my favorites.

Also, last week, a trip to Camden and Merryspring garden gave us the opportunity to check the early blooming flowers and this young cardinal.

We hope everyone has a great summer…there’s lots of critters to see. Good luck.
