We shouldn’t let gay people get married. Look what kind of damage they’re causing to the institution!

  • Lewis Tracy

Wow the guy pushes and chokes a woman, tries to prevent her from reporting it then runs from police.  Now he’s free on $440 bail.  So much for getting tough on domestic violence in the state of Maine.

They must be waiting for the murder charge……

I am confused, the headline says she was dancing with someone else and the article says he was.

       Same here.

        Yup.

        Oh editor, hello!

I hope the fiancee takes this early warning and gets out of the relationship.  Not much upside from here.

  • Ben Hutchins

Note to woman: break this engagement.

$10 says the wedding still happens.

Shes in trouble when it comes time for the father-daughter dance at the reception.

In fact..maybe she should just stay at the table.  I assume it will be good training for her to stay in the kitchen…where I’m sure this fine young man is going to keep her.

Talk about getting your dance-card punched…

I think that the judges need to get on board with lepage’s message about stopping domestic violence in maine and helping the victims of domestic violence

    http://bangordailynews.com/2012/04/17/politics/lepage-signs-two-more-bills-aimed-at-protecting-domestic-violence-victims/

but no, the guy gets a measly 440.00 bail and now he’s back out, pissed off no doubt.
    hopefully the girl seeks help.

Should have followed Ms. Twain’s song of advice….”Dance with the one that Brought You”…..or in redneck terms “Always dance with the one who brung ya”……

    The green eyed monster.
As long as they weren’t dancing the Horizontal Bop, what’s to get upset about?

    • Anonymous

that’s usually the way it starts.
girl or guy wants a little excitement, starts grinding with someone else, then ends up doing the vertical tango later on.
      happens all the time.

the guy just needs to get over it and realize that if that happens then she’s clearly not the one. because if she was the one, and if he wasn’t a psycho, he wouldn’t worry about it.

his bail should have been set higher as well.
there’s no excuse for what he did.

Until they tie the knot, they have no hold on each other. Besides, until we find out which one  was breaking the “dancing rules”, we can’t tell who the insecure one is. They might want some premarital counseling before they take the big leap, too.   :)

        • Anonymous

I’m thinking “premarital counseling” would be a bad idea, considering the guy assaulted the woman. He needs some counseling in anger management and she needs some counseling in choosing better people to date.

          ladies, stop dating psychos.

    LEAVE. HIM. NOW.

Why was she dancing with another guy in the first place?? She had total disrespect for her date or boyfriend.. I think he should leave her because she is TROUBLE!!!!

    • Anonymous

Being engaged, going with or being married, does not mean you cannot dance with someone else. People need to loosen up. It’s people being insecure (and alcohol) that result in actions like this. If you can’t trust your mate, maybe you should be single!

Stuff like this happened daily when I live in the Biddeford/Saco area. Usually in the middle of the street, especially on Bacon St. in Biddeford, or the little side street along the river just over the train tracks in Saco.

Are you kidding? $440 bail on a domestic violence case? Why not just give him a knife and gun and send him back home? These kids are engaged? I wonder if he has consider the dancing partners he will have if he ends up in jail.

    •  Probably the first 6 guys cycled through the pod during his 90 days?

It was the GUY dancing with somebody else that started the fight…The guy is a scumbag…

  • Dude!! (Jonathan) How do you expect her to marry you when she can’t dance with the wedding party!?  I try to stay neutral and sometimes I pick sides but this time I’m stuck trying to find a respectable way of saying, “that was a pretty stupid move.”  I just can’t find an easier way of saying it.

  • quit yer whining

20 Bucks says she will marry this guy!

  • Anonymous

No matter which one was “doing the dance of love”, remember the words to the old song:   “Takes two to tango, two to tango.
Two to really get the feeling of romance” .  Guess the feeling of romance didn’t last for a full evening in this case!!!!

  • to the lady in the article above, you need to RUN,RUN as fast as you can from this woman beating choking so called man. He showed you what he is capable of doing before he married you. Save your life and back out of any commitment you have with him. You deserve better. I hope you think this through before you say I DO.
