Elderly man found dead in sailboat drifting in Rockland harbor

ROCKLAND, Maine — The body of an elderly man was found in the pilot house of a sailboat adrift in Rockland Harbor on Wednesday night.
The man was under a doctor’s care, according to the Rockland Police Department.
His sailboat was in the Journey’s End Marina when the Coast Guard received a report of a boat adrift. The Coast Guard responded with First Aid and found the man’s body.
Authorities have not released the man’s name or cause of death.
