MERIDEN, Conn. – Cindy Webb Hendrickson, 49, left this world peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, June 16, 2012, at MidState Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of James Hendrickson, and in April she and James happily celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. She was born Jan. 23, 1963, in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Donald and Ruth Disereits Webb.
She had been employed in the office of Alden Tool in Berlin for years. Cindy felt she was blessed to have worked in such a caring and supportive environment.
In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her children, Isaac J. Hendrickson, Jacob M. Hendrickson and Rachel B. Hendrickson; three brothers, Albert Webb and wife, Jena, of Meriden, Conn., Edward Webb and wife, RaeJean, of Maine, and Donald Webb and wife, Kristi, of Meriden, Conn.; and brothers-in-law, Andrew Hendrickson and wife, Christine, of Meriden, Conn., and Steven Hendrickson and wife, Bonita, of Wolcott, Conn. She was predeceased by her sister-in law, Sherry Hendrickson. In addition to her own children, the light of her life, were her nieces and nephews, Jesse-Jo, Eric, Shelby, Michaela, Triston, Brandon, Taylor, Allie, A.J., Anna, Gabrielle, Matthew, Josef and Megan; and many, many dear friends.
Her family will receive relatives and friends 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at The Wallingford Funeral Home. A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Meriden American Legion Post 45 Hall. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to Hendrickson Children’s Scholarship Fund, care of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, CT 06492.
