DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — Although the voting results from one town were unavailable Wednesday, SAD 68’s 2012-2013 budget was approved.

Residents from Dover-Foxcroft, Charleston and Monson agreed to accept the $9.65 million budget 609-291, said Superintendent Alan Smith on Wednesday.

Because Sebec’s town office was closed on Wednesday, the results from that town were not known, said Smith. However, because of the weighted vote from the bigger towns, Sebec’s results would not have affected the outcome.

Dover-Foxcroft voters approved the budget 475-231. Charleston and Monson were also in favor, 87-37 and 47-23, respectively.
