Benefit dinner in Dexter to aid man battling diabetes

By Alex Barber, BDN Staff

DEXTER, Maine — A spaghetti dinner and fundraiser will be held at Dexter Regional High School from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, to help a man who is ill.

The benefit is for Brian Robinson Sr., son of Rebecca Robinson of Bangor, who is battling Type 1 diabetes along with heart problems, acute renal failure and undergoing dialysis three times per week.

The requested donation is $5 per person or $15 per family. There will be a silent auction, raffles and door prizes. Auction items include a signed Alan Jackson poster, Taylor Swift merchandise, Maine Military Supply gift certificates, six-month membership to Community Fitness in Guilford and other business gift certificates.

For those willing to donate but cannot make the supper, an account has been set up at Maine Highlands in Dexter under Brian Robinson’s Fundraiser.

For information, contact Vickie Easler at 270-3701.
