French, Lookner win Camden board seats

CAMDEN, Maine — Five-term select board member John French Jr. was returned by voters to a sixth three-year term in voting Tuesday. Voters also elected Leonard Lookner, a former board member, from among a field of six candidates.

French received 573 votes and Lookner landed 405 votes.

Diane Robin McIntosh garnered 319 votes, Mary Lowe Quinn received 174 votes, John Lewis received 117 votes and Matthew Lewis landed 45 votes.

Residents also elected two representatives to the Five Town Consolidated School District and School Administrative District 28 boards. Patricia Libby-Lincoln, a former member, won with 461 votes and Robert Lawson was re-elected to the boards with 378 votes. Christopher Richmond garnered 340 votes.
