AURORA, Maine — The property that was formerly known as the Meadow Mountain Guide Service is under investigation for a reported burglary, police said.

Deputy Luke R. Gross of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department said a suspect broke into a shed on the property and stole some yard equipment and lawn mowers sometime within in a 12-hour window between Sunday evening and Monday morning.

“Some evidence was collected at the scene,” the deputy said, but he wasn’t able to disclose any further information at the time.
