BANGOR, Maine — A local woman out on bail first was warned to calm down by police who went to the The Charles Inn-Big Easy Lounge downtown early Tuesday and after refusing was arrested, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said.

Tisha Kuchinski, 26, refused to leave the inn and employees called police about 12:30 a.m. When Officer Kyle Pelkey arrived, Kuchinski started yelling at him, Edwards said.

“She was asked to calm down and she wouldn’t,” the sergeant said.

Kuchinski was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and for violating her bail conditions. She was taken to Penobscot County Jail and remained there Tuesday, Edwards said.

Kuchinski was living in Brewer in December when she was convicted of false public alarm or report and ordered to pay a $250 fine, according to court listings in the Bangor Daily News.
